Deep Learning for Large-Scale ECG Analysis

BIO:

Dr. Lei LU is a postdoctoral researcher at the Institute of Biomedical Engineering, University of Oxford. He obtained his PhD degree from Harbin Institute of Technology, China, he had visiting student research at the University of British Columbia, Canada, and postdoctoral research experience at the University of Melbourne, Australia. His research focused on advanced signal processing for noisy and weak signal, and robust machine learning with applications in biomedical engineering and intelligent condition monitoring. He had research experience on developing novel AI models for the prediction of robotic-assisted stroke rehabilitation, and explainable deep learning model for inference across large-scale ECG data. He was an awardee of the IET J.A. Lodge award in 2021, which presents to one early-career researcher in biomedical engineering annually with distinction.
